William Wallace Dies at 45 Longtime Franklin Resident
William Wallace, recently stricken with pneumonia, died at his residence on Franklin Avenue last Saturday. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Reformed Church with Rev. Mr. Stuart officiating. Pallbearers included Frank Austin, B. Barnes, William H. Stager, John Jordan, John Hirschberger, and Frank Diven. Interment was in the church cemetery. Wallace was an outdoor sports enthusiast, a charter member of the Franklin Athletic Association, and two seasons ago managed the Nutley Baseball Club. He left a widow and five children.
