Nutley Scouts Win Second in Signal Contest Rally
Nearly 100 Boy Scouts from Nutley attended the Scout Rally at the First Regiment Armory in Newark. Troop Three placed second in semaphore signaling with Edgar Bellows Eugene Fuller and Chapin Condit. The same troop won first in dressing but was disqualified for wearing leggings backward. About three thousand scouts from across the county participated.

Nutley Woman Dies After Hurrying for Train
Mrs Guy J Edwords of 26 Rutgers Place Nutley died at home shortly after missing a train while ill for months. Daughter of Major and Mrs Scholefield she had long organized local women’s groups and served Grace Church Choir. Survived by husband mother two sisters and a brother. Funeral at Grace Episcopal Church tomorrow at 2 30 with burial in Passaic Avenue Methodist Cemetery.
