At Tuesday night’s Commissioners meeting the Social Service Board urged maintaining a town bed at a nearby hospital for Nutley patients. D r Philhower favored Mountainside, Dr Crystell backed St Mary’s, and a final report was postponed to next Tuesday.

Miss Esther Keilerg, twenty, was overcome by heat at Franklin Avenue and Church Street Thursday afternoon. She was removed to Dr. A. H. Van Riper's office for treatment as bystanders noted she was shivering and in distress.

Sidewalk Riders Fined in Newark Bicycle Incident

Joseph Salesky and Alexander Fedoerfish of Newark were arrested Monday by Police Chief Wright Sutcliffe for riding bicycles on Center street sidewalk. Recorder James M. Post fined them $2.50 each.
