Sandusky man killed in home invasion shooting
A Sandusky man, Scott Hinkle, 19, was shot and killed Friday night during a forced entry at 1218 W. Jefferson St. by another intruder and a partner. Charles Everett, 1218 W. Jefferson St., reportedly shot Hinkle with a handgun. Everett and his wife were unharmed. Police hold a suspect and question several others.

Girl Falls From Bleachers At New London Field
A New London girl Geri Fritz a fourth grader was listed in satisfactory condition after falling about 45 feet from bleachers at the New London football field during an eighth grade game. Her fall was broken by barbed wire at the fence top and her father Larry Fritz took her to Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital.
