TV Cable Out 2 Hours in Norwalk and Surrounding Areas
A defective electric meter at the Washington Road tower caused Continental Cablevision of Ohio subscribers in Norwalk Milan and Monroeville to lose cable service for about 2.2 hours Saturday night. Thomas P. Willett said the Norwalk city electric department owns the meter and repairs are complete. He ordered internal auxiliary power and trunk-line upgrades to prevent future outages, expected in about two weeks. He noted about six tower power failures since service began a year ago, mostly due to lightning.
