Norwalk Man Killed in Cornfield Crash West of Milan
Harold Eugene Chaffee 22 died from head and chest injuries after a car struck a utility pole on Bryan Road. Passenger Kenneth Plue 21 and driver Edward Snyder 20 were treated at Fisher-Titus hospital. Two minor crashes followed as downed wires hung on the highway. Chaffee, a Norwalk native and Norwalk High School graduate, was active in local sports and recreation. He is survived by parents, siblings, grandparents, and extended family. Funeral services set for Tuesday.
