Cows Inside To Avoid Fallout
The Ohio Department of Agriculture urged dairy farmers to keep cows off pasture and indoors for 24 hours starting 8 a.m. today as a radioactive cloud from China passes over Ohio. Cows should stay on dry feed, hay and silage to prevent milk contamination. authorities say there is no danger but rain could contaminate milk. The cloud was expected to move over the state between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. today.
