Greenwich village councilmen approved a $75 monthly raise for Water and Light Plant superintendent Dave Robertson raising his pay to 550 retroactive to July 1 and increased part time worker Fred Seagren’s wage from 2.30 to 2.50 per hour beginning December 1. The BPA introduced both ordinances as Atlee Myers noted Robertson earned a Class I water operator license and seven test wells were drilled to date. Myers said there is no water shortage but a future surface water plan may require more supply and a new water softening plant could cost about 200000.
