Escapees Die In Garbage
Two prisoners who had previously attempted escapes died Wednesday while trying again. They slipped into the back of a garbage truck at Western Penitentiary and were crushed in its compactor. Kenneth Perrine, 29, and Robert Lenigan, 45, were found in the truck’s compactor at the city dump.
