Two U S Air Force pilots died in a fighter bomber crash near Saigon on a training flight, raising U S casualties to 314 in four years of Vietnam war. The High National Council must approve Huong before civil rule begins.
Adlai E. Stevenson says he would resign within a minute of Goldwater's inauguration if Goldwater is elected. He mocked a Miller remark about firing Stevenson five minutes after taking office and urged a bipartisan foreign policy during a World Affairs Council lunch in Los Angeles.
In Austin Texas hundreds of Gypsies mourned Prince Miller Evans a 15 year old heir to the Gypsy king Joe Evans after he shot himself with a .22 pistol Tuesday night He died Thursday as crowds gathered around Hyltin Manor Funeral Home and Brackenridge Hospital to grieve the tragedy and honor Gypsy tradition.
