West Baking buns power McDonald’s empire in Norwalk plant
Norwalk’s West Baking Co produces buns for McDonald’s 400 stores in five states. The plant runs three shifts, delivering about a million buns daily with strict quality control. Buns are crafted to exact thickness and size, using Texas sesame seeds, and a dedicated global supply chain supports the chain’s burger lineup including Big Mac and steak buns.
