Frey Attacks GOP Minority Role in 13th District
Sandusky mayor Frey told the Sandusky Fremont Norwalk Chambers of Commerce he views the 13th District as harmed by minority party representation in Congress. He urged electing a congressman who can promote the district in Washington and criticized the Medicare Kerr Mills bill as insufficient for seniors. He defended Viet Nam coverage and contrasted Goldwater with Johnson on foreign policy.

Don Wurzel announces judges for the Norwalk Jaycees Halloween parade on October 31. Mayor Louis G. Frey Police Chief Ray Chapin and Council President Delbert Crawford will judge. Parade starts 7 p.m. at Case and Church Streets. Window painting judges are Mrs J Mihali Helen Lippert and Mrs Patricia Hammond.

Case acquitted in assault charge by Huron County jury
A Huron County Common Pleas Court jury found Bobby D. Case 21 not guilty of assault after two hours of deliberation. Case was arrested August 3 by the sheriff on charges of reckless operation and assault. the reckless charge remains pending and he is free on a $100 signature bond.
