Klan rally in Parma faces land-use reversal

About 150 people attended a peaceful KKK rally on land leased by Dale Reusch in Parma after city officials initially barred use but later reversed the ruling. Police counted 44 officers and 75 onlookers watched across the street.

Dr. Martin Luther King Sr. told a Columbus congregation that President Nixon has long been a churchman but lacks religion to support another black Supreme Court justice. He urged churches to push integration and warned even Ohio shows little progress. He doubted seeing a black governor.
