U S casualties in Vietnam fall to two month low
In Saigon UPI reports American combat losses for the past week show 102 killed 890 wounded and 29 missing as casualties drop nearly half from the prior week. The decline follows an extensive U S bombardment in the DMZ that forced North Vietnamese troops to withdraw and move their artillery.
