Police investigated vandalism across Norwalk as five residents filed reports Sunday afternoon. Cars were sprayed with black paint, a truck from Norwalk Furniture Co. was damaged, signs in Jefferson League area were painted, and a windshield wiper and radio antenna were bent. A window at 26 Summit St showed two small BB holes.
Gary Opper eleven of rural Monroeville left Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital after his arm was caught in a combine Saturday while helping his father in a field near home. Five people were treated at the emergency room over the weekend including Robert Martin eleven of Norwalk injured playing football for Norwalk Junior High. James P. Hertenstein fourteen of Norwalk treated for football injuries on St. Paul s High School freshman team. Larry Weimer twenty one of Huron treated for a cut hand after his hand was caught in a tow motor bar while working for Clevite Harris. Robert H. Harell two of Norwalk treated for a dog bite Sunday.
