Agriculture Secretary Earl L. Butz warned food costs will climb again, predicting an average increase of about 14 to 15 percent for 1974. He told ABC Issues and Answers that Americans may have to pay more or eat less as prices stay higher than 1973.
Margaretta Happy Rockefeller, 48, at Sloan-Kettering in New York, had a second breast cancer operation five weeks after a radical mastectomy on the left breast. She underwent the procedure at Memorial Hospital around 8:30 a.m. Doctors had not informed her of the small cancer in the right breast until last week. Nelson Rockefeller knew of her condition.
National Weather Service forecasts snow flurries across Ohio by afternoon with the Lake Erie shore riding the heaviest snowfall up to three inches. Temperatures linger in the 30s today and drop to the low 20s tonight with mostly sunny skies expected Tuesday and continued cold conditions.
Greyhound buses resumed service after a six day strike ended with about a 16 percent raise over three years. Negotiators backed by a federal mediator reached a midday Sunday agreement and 16,000 workers across 30 unions will vote on ratification by December 18.

Norwalk and nearby towns greeted the state Class AA high school champions with a five mile parade along U.S. 20 from Monroeville to Norwalk. Thousands filled Main Street, the auditorium, and nearby streets in a spontaneous, citywide celebration for coach Bob Hart and the Truckers.

William Gandert, director of the Huron Metropolitan Housing Authority, will address the Norwalk city council in chambers at 7 30 this evening. The plan calls for 65 low cost apartment units for senior citizens to be built in Norwalk.
A Saturday poll shows 72 percent oppose Ford’s pledge to refrain from troop or military aid reductions in Korea if Congress agrees. Fifty-eight percent say the U S should prioritize domestic needs ahead of foreign aid while 28 percent support limiting aid to high fire power weapons.
