Boston University football player dies after anesthesia reaction

Sophomore linebacker Tony Danckert, 20, of Clarksville New York, died two days after routine anesthesia for a broken leg operation. Danckert had been injured in a game versus the University of Louisville at Fairgrounds Stadium Louisville before returning to Boston and being admitted to Children’s Hospital.

Norwalk pharmacist escapes car plunge after Ridge Road crash

Edward Prack 48, a Norwalk pharmacist, survived a guardrail plunge on Ridge Road with minor lip and chin cuts. A truck driver pulled him from the embankment and he returned to work the same day. The crash followed a night of short sleep and a distant meeting, with no citation issued. A community Thanksgiving service is set for 7:30 pm at St Peter Lutheran Church with a Norwalk High School Choir.
