Deposed Senators Face Loss of Senate Membership

Washington reports seven senators lost their seats in the recent election. Mayors join talks as NOT strike widens in region

C of C Ends Ican's Pact

The Norwalk Chamber of Commerce Senior Board votes not to renew Executive VP Tom Ican's contract as part of an austerity plan to run on a pay as you go basis. A financial study committee headed by Tom Paffenbarger cited current finances as insufficient to allow renewal. The drive raised 2265 this fall with 700 in a bank and 1700 from an escrow for industrial development. Ican leaves after four years. plans remain undisclosed.
