Near mid air collision injures crew aboard two TWA jets
A co pilot suffered a broken ankle and two flight attendants were minorly injured when TWA Flight 516 from Indianapolis to Pittsburgh and Flight 373 from Washington to Dayton narrowly avoided collision over the Appleton Vortac near Columbus. Flight 516 carried 73 passengers and a four member crew. Flight 373 was descending into Dayton.
