Strange Man In Bedroom Crashes Car Into Helena Home

Miss Mary Keefe awoke to a station wagon driven by 18 year old Michael Carr of Brasher Falls inside her house in Helena New York. The vehicle crashed through the home moving the bed and leaving the house three feet off its foundation. Carr was hospitalized with multiple injuries while Keefe suffered minor injuries.

Boy Found Dead After Kidnapping Near Sao Paulo

Patrick E Dolan 18, kidnapped son of Richard J Dolan director of Swift and Company Brazil, was found dead on a farm about 37 miles west of Sao Paulo. Police say they captured a suspect believed part of the kidnap group.

Maid who found Tate bodies located after disappearance

Winifred Chapman, the 55 year old maid who discovered actress Sharon Tate and four others slain, has been found alive in Southern California. Police had reported her missing since Oct. 10 but declined to reveal her whereabouts. She declined further publicity.

Seale Sentenced to Four Years for Courtroom Contempt

Bobby Seale drawn from the Chicago Eight trial is sentenced to four years for contempt acts. Judge Julius Hoffman also declares a mistrial and imposes three months for each of sixteen counts, with Seale's lawyer signaling an appeal to the Supreme Court.

Youth Arrested Here For LSD

The Huron County Sheriff's Office charged 19 year old Gary Kupniewski with possession of LSD after a capsule found in his Norwalk Motel room tested positive. His cousin Ronald Jarusiewicz, 18, was arrested for giving wine to two teens.
