Montreal Expos selected slugging outfielder Reggie Jackson in the first re entry draft of free agents who have played out their options. Peace Offering From Norwalk Lawyers After Election Victory
Two Norwalk lawyers surrendered in a dispute involving the Huron County Bar Association and Probate and Juvenile Judge Thomas E Heydinger. Attorneys Fred Waugh and Henry E Young sent Heydinger red carnations with a white flag to celebrate his victory. Heydinger, a Democrat, beat Republican Joseph Dush by over 2,500 votes, after Dush received support from bar association members who previously challenged Heydinger’s TT appointment by former Gov.
