The Roman Catholic Church posted a 20000 dollar reward for capturing the thieves who used mountain-climbing gear to loot Cologne Cathedral. Authorities launched a worldwide search and will seek Interpol help to recover the stolen religious objects from Europe’s largest Gothic church.
In Portland Maine two women died after fumes from a bleach and ammonia cleaning mixture filled their apartment. Muriel Holmes 68 collapsed first and her niece Muriel Perta 55 inhaled the fumes while awaiting help. Perta died an hour after hospital admission.
