Willard District Considers Redistricting Proposal
Willard Board of Education will discuss June 5 a plan to redistrict to curb declining enrollment and cut costs. The plan moves Rheba Bennett building to office use and stretches Richmond boundaries north of Townline Road 12 and west of Holiday Lakes. Greenfield would absorb Long Road and Havana area students. New Haven would take Neal Zick Road mobile home park residents. most Rheba Bennett students would transfer to Central Junior High with 15 to Greenfield, reducing staff via attrition and aiming for lower operating costs.
