New London Housing Plan Faces Street Right Of Way Hurdles
Village officials met with architect Andre Buehler and Gerald Hanson of Home Builders Construction to discuss a 3.24 acre rental housing project planned near West Main Street. The plan requires a Pearl Street right of way survey and a state permit for a private development due to no local zoning code. Financing and maintenance responsibilities will rest with private owners and the North East Land Company will manage the completed development.
