A weekend storm knocked down wires and trees in Norwood Avenue and surrounding streets in Norwalk. Fifteen wire strands fell on Norwood Avenue delaying restoration until about 2 30 AM Monday. Fire units responded to a beech tree fire at Memorial Lake Park and outages affected downtown lights and several blocks including Chestnut Maple and Oak Streets.
