A car driven by Charles W. Murray 10 Grove St rammed a parked car on East Main Street after a stuck gas pedal. Mrs. Murray was treated for a forehead cut. Murray cited for driving off the road. Multiple minor collisions followed on nearby streets with no serious injuries reported.

Bellevue gun thefts recovered in Bucyrus
Guns reported stolen from a rural Bellevue home on April 18 were recovered in Bucyrus with help from Crawford County Sheriff deputies. Gary D. Barnhart, 21, reportedly admitted taking the guns to pay a debt and is held in county jail.

Composite Portrait Of Shooting Suspect Released
A sheriff's department release provides a composite image of a man in his 30s who shot 13 year old Donald Parrish in the ankle while he floated in an inner tube on the Huron River near Monroeville. The suspect, described as 5'10 to 5'11 with light graying hair, wore blue trousers a white T shirt and tan boots. A woman companion wore bluish slacks and a blue white blouse. The pair were seen in a blue car. Anyone with tips should call 663-3941 or 663-4191.

Pickup Truck and Trailer Lose Control After Breakaway
An empty horse trailer began to break loose from a southbound pickup on State Route 99 near Egypt Road Tuesday night. The driver, Dennis D. Eitle, 18, Willard, swerved and the vehicles overturned. Eitle was not injured and faced a charge for using a license plate belonging to another vehicle. In Kansas City, Royals optioned Mike Hedlund to Omaha and promoted Tom Burgmeier. A Collins woman, Kathrina F. Garwood, 51, failed to yield and pulled into a pickup on West Collins Road. her car struck the truck, ejecting it into a ditch. Garwood reported injuries but received no treatment.
