Two-county CAC seeks elderly youth grants
The Erie Huron counties Community Action Council aims to obtain grants for senior meals and summer youth employment. Executive director Mary Rathers of Sandusky told the board she will present more on the May 24 meeting at 7 30 p m in the CAC center Sandusky. The board discussed donations from businesses to support elderly transportation. Rathers proposed Veronica Dever of Sandusky be named to the board to address attendance issues as quorum is hard to achieve.
