Willard Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash Near Havana
A 20 year old Willard man Garry Max Phillips died when his 1978 Yamaha motorcycle left Greenfield Road near Havana and struck trees a culvert and a pole. He was found in a ditch beside North Greenfield Road and died of a skull fracture. Phillips was not wearing a helmet and the bike owner was a relative Steven Phillips of Willard. He was a 1976 Willard High School graduate and a machine operator at Thompson Industries Monroeville. Survived by parents Andrew and Emma Phillips five sisters and five brothers. Funeral arrangements set at St Sebastian Church Bismark with burial in St Sebastian Cemetery.
