Attendance record shows Robertson’s 1974 absenteeism and 64 percent overall

The Reflector reviews Huron County Commissioners records finding Donald Robertson attended 50 of 93 sessions in 1974 and 34 of 38 since Jan. 1 1975. Capelle had questioned his attendance, while Arthur Herner and Maurice Smith posted higher rates. Robertson cites long service and few vacations to defend his record.

Willard man shot himself during target practice

Michael Patrick, 27, was treated for a gunshot wound at Willard Area Hospital after an accidental self injury while shooting with friends near Willard and Monroeville. He was released and referred to his own physician. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. No further details on injury were available.

Tax hike debated to fund village police protection

Norwalk and St Paul Music Programs Tonight

The Norwalk Junior High instrumental program starts at 7:30 in the junior high gym. St Paul Music Department presents Musical Sounds With A Touch of Tuba at 8 in the St Paul Auditorium. Tickets cost 1 dollar for adults and 50 cents for students. The Norwalk Board of Education meets at 8 at the school administration building at Hester and Monroe. Planning Commission gathers at city council chambers at 7:30.
