The North Fairfield event drew about 112 participants at the United Methodist Church on Friday. Emmons Funk opened with a poem and prayer, LaCheryl Baker shared a Mother piece, and the South Central Music Department directed by Ron Zoz performed. Webelo Scouts staged plays as carnations were given to multiple mothers for various honors.
Townsend 4-H club activity notes show no dues amount yet and two new members Tracy Deeble and Tammie Caprara. Shirley Holmes demonstrated no bake cookies while Cheryl Strait spoke about her bike. Jean Langjahr read a fire story and the club voted to use treasury funds for badges and needs.

Thursday DeMolay Mothers group convenes at Masonic Hall at 7 30 and Daughters of Isabella Stella Maris Circle 384 meet at K of C Hall at 8 30 p.m. Classified ads offer car sales.
