Bar Association Key in Norwalk Municipal Court Fate

Senator Donald J. Pease says the Norwalk Municipal Court hinges on the Huron County Bar Association as he submits a bill and a Legislative Service Commission cost of 71 900 dollars. The bar association has yet to act and could determine whether a new court would be established in Norwalk and Willard.

Local youths tied to county break-ins and home invasion

Jerry Hale age 19 of Greenwich among suspects in a string of southern Huron County thefts. Four juveniles were arrested in the probe led by Sgt. Stan Borgia. A Norwalk woman reported five intruders breaking into her home, with three still inside when police arrived. Items taken from a safety deposit box included a diamond ring a silver dollar and $10 in cash. Salvation Army Captain Stanley Wells and 40 children left for the Shriner's Circus in Toledo with tickets arranged by Charles J. Rion from Scottwood Avenue at St. Pauls Episcopal lot provided bus and gas support.
