Norwalk Planning Commission urges charter revisions
The Norwalk Charter Review Commission discussed major charter changes with the Planning Commission. Proposed changes aim to give planning input earlier in the legislative process and remove two outdated reporting sections while keeping the master plan and zoning guidance intact. The group also debated merging the Planning Commission with the Board of Zoning Appeals and called for removing the open meetings clause in favor of Sunshine Law access. The commission will reconvene next Monday at 8 p.m. with the public invited.
