Humphrey meets Italian premier after Rome paint incident

Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey, unshaken by a Communist paint-throwing incident, met Italian Premier Aldo Moro in Rome to discuss global issues. The attack occurred as he arrived at the Rome Opera House for a performance of Verdi's Ernani, but Humphrey was not hit and gave no comment.

Youth 18 Admits Bellevue Break-In

An 18 year old Toledo youth confessed to a March 2 breaking and entering at Jolly Lanes in Bellevue. He and three Toledo companions took juke box money bowling balls whiskey and other items, with some traded or destroyed as they sought to recover traded goods. Two of the other youths are in Boys Industrial School Toledo, one is out on bond from Port Clinton Jail. no charges yet in Ottawa County Toledo prosecutions.

Plan for automatic hog barn sparks Ohio innovation

Plan to build a two story circular high rise hog barn south of Norwalk spearheaded by Leon Riley aims to automate feeding climate and waste. The precast aluminum structure includes 23 bins per floor holding up to 500 hogs and can alter air and light in under a minute.
