Reward in Norwalk church arsons grows to 1700 dollars

A reward for conviction of those who set four Norwalk church fires has risen to 1700 dollars. The First United Methodist Church pledged 500 dollars as part of the effort, while the Norwalk City Council contributed 1000 dollars and other donors added 200. The fires occurred in February, with the Methodist blaze on February 16 being the third of four.

Ohio license plates go on sale by alphabet split

Ohio drivers with last names A through K may purchase 1976 license plates at about 750 deputy registrar offices starting Thursday, with L through Z buyers in May. Plates cost 10 dollars plus a 50 cent registrar fee and some counties show a back tax. Expired tags carry a possible 25 dollar fine.

Teenagers Ram Parked Cars in Odessa Driveways

Two teenagers Rodney Wheeler and Gary Morgan were charged with criminal mischief after using a battered car to smash 38 parked vehicles across Odessa. Damages exceeded $10,000 as cars were pushed into yards and even into a house under construction. The suspects were held on $10,000 bond.
