Rural Norwalk couple among four charged with marijuana possession
Russell L. Oliver 30 and Charlotte Oliver 27 were jailed on marijuana possession charges along with Lawrence C. Smith 25 and Sadie L. Smith 25. The four were arrested Thursday in Norwalk while driving a company truck. Investigators said the substance was sent for analysis and that no evidence of sale was found. The Olivers previously traveled west with four children on a horse drawn wagon.

Walter C. Felter 19 of McCutchenville is charged with the March 16 armed robbery of the Gastown service station at U.S. 20 and Ohio 4 east of Bellevue. He allegedly stole about 225 dollars after tying attendant Kenneth Robert 18 rural Bellevue with tape. Robert described a blue steel pistol and Felter was arrested Thursday night in Bellevue. A prior Bellevue Municipal Court charge led to the warrant. Deputies Harper and Osterland led the investigation. Felter was to appear in Common Pleas Court today.
