The Common Pleas Court will decide legality of the sale and whether about $13,000 yearly from village and township taxpayers continues through 1975.
Nathan Handwerker, long known as Mr. Coney Island, died at 83 in Port Charlotte Florida after a heart attack. He started as a feltman bread slicer on Coney Island in 1916 with Ida Handwerker and sold hot dogs for a nickel, building Nathans Famous into an 18 restaurant chain selling 12 million hotdogs annually.
The Norwalk High School Basketball Banquet will be held at 6 30 this evening at the VFW Hall. The event honors the team and coaches for the season.
