Egypt approves Israel peace package and Sadat to sign treaty

Cairo reports the cabinet unanimously approves the Israeli Egyptian peace package. Man Killed When Jeep Lands On Him

WILLARD A Holiday Lakes man was killed Wednesday afternoon when his 1974 Jeep went off Ohio 99 then became airborne and struck an embankment. Kenneth Kissel, 28, was thrown beneath the vehicle and died 45 minutes later at Willard Area Hospital. He was a pressman for R R Donnelley and Sons and had lived in Willard six years. Survivors include his wife Diane and his parents. Calling hours and funeral arrangements were announced. A separate notice lists local events: Norwalk Republican Club meeting, State Rep Gene Damschroder talk, Maplehurst PTO talent show and book fair at 7:30 p.m.

Rare Meeting Stirs Hope For Airport Settlement

A rare Huron County Airport Authority meeting set for Friday aims to address Ron Zoellner 1.1 million lawsuit. Attendees include special attorney Harry Riggs, Assistant Prosecutor Jack Fynes, Norwalk officials, and at least one county commissioner. Ehove Board to Put Levy on Ballot and Hire Replacement

The Ehove Board of Education voted to place a half mill operating levy before voters in the June primary, estimating about 375000 in five years. They also approved hiring Squires Sander and Dempsey to draft the issue and appointed Jerry Mahl as agriculture mechanic teacher replacing Kerry Jett through May 31 with a salary of 5071.
