Norwalk Schools seek annexation to expand district boundaries
The Norwalk City School District seeks to annex six city parcels currently taxed by other districts including Norwalk Furniture on Ohio 18 and the turf nursery site near U.S. 250 to gain about $50 000 yearly in tax revenue. A 4 0 board vote approved the annexation resolution and the district plans to inform the Ohio Department of Education.

The Norwalk Board of Zoning Appeals approved a conditional use permit for Douglas Colvin to erect two three family buildings on Spring Street at about 90 000. Opponents cited congestion while supporters praised cost savings and shade tree preservation. Scout Abduction At Florida State Park
A 19 year old girl scout was dragged from a tent at Oscar Scherer State Park before dawn. Officials said a man ripped open the tent, grabbed her by the hair, and abducted her as her tentmates screamed. The uniden tified girl, from Venice Farms area, was with 16 other scouts on a park outing south of Sarasota.

Young Carrier Delivers Reflector on Local Routes
John Sholes Jr. 12, a Berlin Milan Middle School student, has been delivering the Reflector for three months on Gallup Avenue Ontario Street and Milan Avenue.
