Norwalk hosts a 12 hour charity rollerskating marathon on July 23 at the Disco Skating Rink to raise funds for the Cancer Society. William Smith sponsors the event with prizes including two bicycles and a pair of rollerskates for top donors and skaters.
A Wakeman man 23 was seriously injured on Ohio 113 when his motorcycle struck a road sweeper attached to a front tractor driven by Thomas Stahl 43 of Toledo. Jeavons remained in intensive care at Lorain Community Hospital with a fair night reported.
MILAN-Gould Inc asks village solicitor and state auditor why the village cannot pay interest on a $12 759 back charge from a $215 558 overcharge due to a faulty GE meter in 1974. Village solicitor Mc Dermond cites a ruling. Gould disputes interpretation and seeks legal references before suing. Swint says softer approach may be pursued. Mc Dermond has not answered a June 15 letter and declines to comment on GE suit.
