Three point rule adopted by NBA Board of Governors
The NBA approved a yearlong test making any shot from 22 to 24 feet count for three points next season and discussed ending the third referee. They also rejected extending the third official, set a 10 second rule to bring the ball in from out of bounds, mandated fines paid by players, and vetoed legalizing zone defense. The advisory committee will consider Jerry Buss buying the Los Angeles Lakers, while George Maloof won the Rockets sale.

Ohio fishermen can add frog legs to their daily catch. Use a fly and light tackle during the day or a flashlight and gig at night to harvest bullfrogs. After catching, remove legs with a pocketknife along the spine, skin and trim joints, then marinate or fry. A fishing license is required to collect frogs.
