Woman Held For Checks After Norwalk Arrest
A Norwalk woman Diane Ramon aged 30 was arrested Tuesday afternoon for passing over 3000 in bad checks at area businesses. She is held on 3000 bond at the Huron County Jail after Perkins Township Police detained her at the Sandusky Mall and returned her to Huron County. The charge was upgraded from misdemeanor to a fourth degree felony due to a prior Bellevue bad check conviction and case forwarded to the county prosecutor. Ramon had a Norwalk Municipal Court warrant for default on a summons and was released on recognizance by Judge Donald Derby.
