New London Band Plans Eight Parade Performances
New London Wildcat Marching Band led by James Van Sickle will perform in eight parades through Aug 30 including Greenwich Wellington Rochester and Norwalk with most events competitive. Junior High Band will join Greenwich Wellington Rochester parades and a concert plus several community events are scheduled around July and September.

Four hundred forty eight citizens band radios were registered with the Huron County Sheriff's Department to curb thefts. North Fairfield Council Votes Higher Insurance on Public Property
The village council increased coverage on water pumps from 2500 to 5000 and pump house contents from 2500 to 5000. Library building coverage rises to 15000 and contents to 1000. Water tower insurance was tabled for replacement cost. Fire station coverage also tabled. Inside water tower painting planned by Ohio Tank Maintenance Co. for 900.
