Mother leads complaint to FDA over school lunches in Norwalk
A Norwalk mother and other parents plan to send a letter to the Food and Drug Administration protesting allegedly cold and unpalatable meals in city cafeterias. Mrs Kay Ortner told the Board of Education about waste and unsatisfactory portions at League Street School and concerns over playground supervision.

Drifter Charged With Knife Slaying in Brunswick
Medina County authorities charged Thomas Yanasak, 31, a Detroit drifter, with aggravated murder in the abduction and killing of Carol L. Smith, 22, who was taken from Conley's Plaza in Brunswick and found stabbed 20 times in a Medina Township field.
