The Linn Group, a new George F. Linn Corp, won a secret 8 to 4 vote over the 22-year-old Huron County Mental Health Society to take over mental health services for Huron County from July. The 648 Board faces potential dissolution as its contract with the society expires. Attorney Reese Wineman outlined staff changes and a plan to hire a coordinator from Columbus to smooth the transition. The board approved a revised contract limiting Linn's liability to funded services and discussed expanding Linn’s board, while opponent Henry E. Young argued revisions to strengthen patient confidentiality and control of records.
