Dollar coin to be out July 1
Federal Reserve banks will distribute the Susan B Anthony dollar to commercial banks for public use starting July 1. The coin features Susan B Anthony on the obverse and the Apollo 11 eagle on the reverse, designed by Frank Gasparro. The move aims to cut production costs and improve circulation by replacing notes with durable coins.
