Sheller-Globe expands Norwalk waste treatment plant upgrade
Sheller-Globe Corp will upgrade the Norwalk assembly plant wastewater system to remove paint residues and other wastes. Current processes already treat all plant wastewater before discharge, and new standards may require more stringent limits. Construction to begin after approvals, with operation targeted by November 1. The Norwalk plant produces heavy-duty truck cabs and components. The Norwalk Chamber of Commerce hosts a mixer to honor Company C, 612th Engineer Battalion, at the National Guard Armory, with tours and equipment demonstrations.
