Engaged couples set in Ohio and Norwalk areas
Wedding bells soon will ring as Kathy Christopher and Herb Mayer plan a May 9 1980 ceremony. Kathy graduates with a master’s in animal science from Ohio State in March. Herb, an agricultural economics graduate, is Land mark Bethel branch manager. Also engaged are Karen Joy Bowers Sickel, daughter of Howard and Marjorie Bowers, and Stephen Sickel. Karen is Norwalk High 1978 graduate studying nursing at Providence Hospital School and plans ministry studies at Toccoa Falls. He is Norwalk High 1978 graduate and future ministry student at Toccoa Falls. They plan to wed June 20 1980. Diana Lynn Stewart Ingersoll and Dennis Allen Schaffer, both Norwalk graduates, are engaged. Diana, a 1979 Monroeville High School graduate, will attend North Central Technical College. Dennis, 1976 Norwalk High and EHOVE graduate, works as a West Baking mechanic. An August 17 wedding is planned at St Alphonsus Church Peru.
