A five year old boy from Brandon visiting grandparents in Clarksville died after being thrown from a horse Saturday. Stephen F Thomas died Sunday at Fisher Titus Hospital after surgery failed to stop internal bleeding. The twins sister and parents were with grandparents at the time.

Brutsche Wins 18 Holes After Accident Near Nova Golf
Robert K. Brutsche of Norwalk was bruised in a Sunday crash just outside Rolling Acres Golf Course at Nova. He finished 18 holes and attended a post tournament party before hospital treatment for a head bruise. An Ashland woman in the other car was hospitalized and charged with failing to yield. Brutsche, employed by Gould, Inc., shot 102 for the round. Three riding companions from Norwalk were uninjured.
