God Shaped Vacuum In Every Heart Graduates Told
Norwalk high School seniors heard a baccalaureate message on love by Rev. Paul Bailey of First United Methodist Church. He spoke of three prime loves, warned graduates to keep God first, and said only God can fill the vacuum in every heart. The ceremony at the junior high included prayers, songs, and a band performance. Commencement exercises were scheduled for 8 tonight at the junior high.

County School Board Sets Transfer Hearings
The Huron County Board of Education will hold public hearings in July on transfer requests between Western Reserve and New London districts. The Tetrick couple seeks transfer from New London to Western Reserve, while the Shepherd family requests the opposite. The board also heard on hearing tests for graduating seniors and approved buying an overhead projector for 299 dollars and microfilming records. A car crash involving 18 year old James R. Lewellen II is noted.

Collins Girl Injured In Car Hits Bridge On Hartland Center Road
A Collins area girl 16 suffered injuries when her car struck a bridge abutment and overturned in a creek along Hartland Center Road east of Olena. She was not hospitalized. The patrol cited loss of control and a hit with the abutment.
