Power Outage Hits Norwalk Areas On Friday
A breaker blew at the electric warehouse on Water Street causing about 45 minutes of outages in parts of Newton Street and Norwalk's business district. Service Director Herbert Krogh labeled the event routine and crews restored power around 3 p.m. Sprinklers at Thrif-T-Mart activated by overheating incinerator room. firemen contained the fire and assisted with water removal.
